Blog Masters Club has a special place in my heart.
For one, it was the very first product I launched into this market. It really put me “on the map”, so to speak. Of course, it didn’t hurt that I had everybody from Darren Rowse (ProBlogger), John Chow, Chris Garrett, Daniel Scocco, Michael Dunlop – and many others – helping me to promote it. It still means alot to me that they were onboard.
So, the obvious question here is…
It started while I was on a cruise with my wife. It was the last day and we were having a “sea day”. I was totally disconnected from the Internet and my mind was disconnected from all the buzz of the day-to-day.
I sat there on the aft deck with a notebook and pen. And I went into brainstorming mode.
I was planning out the future of my business. Taking the bird’s eye view of things. It is one of those moments when you become the chess player rather than one of the chess pieces.
This period of brainstorming – and clarity – resulted in something. It resulted in a bit of a “course correction” for the direction of my business.
Now, I could go on about the specifics of this… but that is best left to another setting. However, one of the key things that came out of it is the need for me to SIMPLIFY.
See, having all these different products out there not only led to potential confusion with my prospective customers (as in, people asking me what the difference was between one product and another), but it led ME into a little bit of entrepreneurial ADD.
For me to REALLY step up my game, I decided I need to throw all of my efforts behind a unified product line. That way I can have a unified message, unified marketing… and REALLY allow me to deliver – no, OVERDELIVER – on everything for my students and clients.
And so, in addition to a number of other to-be-announced changes, I came to the decision that it was time to bring the Blog Masters Club chapter of my business to a close.
Let’s cut right to the chase here…
If you’re reading this page, then you’re one of the following:
I wrote those words a couple years ago about the Blog Masters Club. And – to this day – I believe it remains true.
A lot of various training programs for bloggers have come and go – and many have their strengths – but I still believe that NOTHING comes close to the true breadth of what I compiled inside the training of Blog Masters Club.
Blog Masters Club is a comprehensive 16-module course for aspiring probloggers. Inside the training portal, you will discover…
This course is HUGE. The training portal contains 16 core training modules (while most people’s products have only 4). Plus, it comes with multiple hours of coaching call recordings as well as 4 bonus modules of “basics training”.
But, don’t sweat bullets here! Because you can take your sweet-ass time going through it once you enroll. Like I said, even though I’m taking Blog Masters off the market, it will remain here in full force.
So, first, you can get one of those big “eye candy” graphics to give you an idea of the scope of this bad-boy…

But, because I know some people will wanna see it, I’m going to do a little mini-breakdown of all 16 modules.

Boom goes the dynamite!
Historically, students who enrolled in this training paid either 6 payments of $95… or a single payment of $495. Over the last couple of years, the lowest I’ve EVER offered this for was $249.
As part of this FINAL OFFER, you can enroll in this thorough and complete training program for…
This is a one-time enrollment fee. There are NO monthly payments, no “forced continuity” – none of that BS. You’ll be given instant access to the training portal – where you’ll have access to all 92 videos, all 20 hours of coaching calls, and all 6 modules of basics training. Just be sure to pace yourself and go through the checklist for each module. Do stuff in the order it says, and be sure to do the exercises contained in those checklists.
The guarantee is simple…
Seriously, if you get into the Club and genuinely don’t think it will work for you, simply let us know within the first 30 days. We’ll immediately refund every penny back to you.
… because, if you’re not happy with this thing, I straight-up don’t want your money.
The whole point of this FINAL OFFER is to allow everybody who wants into this training material to get into it. It is a bit of a last hurrah, so to speak.
But, the whole point is to close it down and move on. I’ve got plans.
I’ll still be teaching, but I’m re-tooling my approach and it is going to be done in a different place. So, this IS the FINAL time that this entire Blog Masters package will be available as one, inclusive whole.
In order for me to cross the t’s and dot the i’s – and finally put this thing to bed – I’m going to set a final deadline of Friday, 5/18/2012.
This will allow plenty of time to let everybody know what’s going on and give a shot of taking action on this.
You have until 5/18/2012 to enroll. After that time, Blog Masters Club will be closed to new signups – forever.
Does that mean Mr. Wonderful that even if I signed up for your free deal – that is ending? Thanks
What free deal? If you’re talking about the 30 Day Challenge, then no, that will continue. This is only affecting Blog Masters Club.
David, Are you closing the blog masters club because the material is outdated or doesn’t work anymore?
Good question, Ed.
Glad somebody asked.
The answer is “no”. I’m closing it for strategic reasons. I plan to come out with something else, and need to close this product down so that I can focus. Also, as you can see above with the 16 modules… Blog Masters is SO big that it is hard to properly define it.
But, specifically to the “outdated” or “doesn’t work” thing…
There are 16 modules in this course. Almost all of it is still very much relevant because it is based on things which don’t change very much. The specific modules which probably would contain some info which is outdated would be:
- Module 3 – because WordPress has been updated substantially since it was recorded.
- Module 5 – because the social media tools have evolved quite a bit in the last couple years.
The techniques of Module 5 still work well, however the tools have changed.
The other 14 modules are as relevant today as they were when I recorded them – even if a few things I may show on screen in the training look a little different now.
The techniques of blogging, marketing and business really don’t change. The fundamentals don’t change. I think understanding the WHAT, WHY and HOW is important and that’s the focus of the course. Tools have changed some, but that’s not the focus.
Hope that helps.
David, I was on the brink of ordering blog master club. So you are saying that your new course will be better than the blog master club, and make blogging better?
Ed,
I’m not sure “better” is the right word. Just different, and with a different focus. My plans aren’t fully formed yet, so it is a little difficult to put into words right now for you.
It comes down to this, however. What you see on this page is what you’ll get immediate access to when you enroll. It is an incredible value. It will deliver results if you put the stuff to use. And it comes with a 30-day “change your mind” guarantee.
And, for what its worth, I’ll be providing an exclusive “in” to my new endeavor for my Blog Masters students when the time comes.
Sounds good David. I am ordering your blog master club course. I have been getting course for a long time and I haven’t mad a cent. I will try your course.
Just remember, Ed. It isn’t the course material which makes you money. It is you. If you don’t earnestly apply the stuff I or anybody else teaches, it won’t do anything for you.
So, while I welcome you into Blog Masters, I’m not interested in it being just another part of a collection of unused things you’ve bought. Make a pact with yourself to do it – and ask me questions when needed.
You do that, you’ll be fine.
Best of luck.
I am interested in starting an Adult web blog. Will your program work for that kind of a site?
Arctic,
Honestly, probably not. My model is about building an authority site and helping people, and I don’t see how the adult industry fits into that one at all.
Good morning from NZ David. Thanks for allowing the Qs – saves your email ;o)
I was just about to sign up but have 2 reservations…and thank you that you are really being honest with the people asking.
You say the WordPress module will be outdated and for a real newbie like myself that is one of the areas I need a bit of direction about.
Social Media is another…and,
Perhaps I don’t know what an ‘adult’ site is about (oops, on second thought perhaps I do) – but my site will be dealing with the changes and challengs of age. Help – encouragement – ideas etc. Thhat’s pretty adult lol
One way or another I want to Travel with you – just want to do it right. Ah…but there is the 30 day cover I need to remember.
Well, there’s quite a bit in Module 3 that is still very much relevant. Things about color, placement of things, and overall design. But, anything showing WordPress itself will look a little… old. They’ve changed the whole admin interface of WP since it was recorded.
I’m pretty sure the adult site he was referring to was what you thought.
The kind of site you’re talking about is completely different.
All done and dusted David – thanks for everything. I’m looking forward to seeing my challenge to myself take off and fly
) G
David, I am ordering your course today. I have 1 question to ask you. If I run into trouble since you said the interface of wordpress has changed since you recorded the video. Can I email you for help if I need you?
Hi Ed,
Yes, of course you can email me.
For anyone wondering about the Blog Masters Club, I bought it last year, and have never regretted it. Honestly, I haven’t noticed anything that is out of date, though I listen to the audio versions mostly. I am still working through the modules (up to module 14), and still getting great value.
Give David a go for 30 days – what have you got to lose? I recently paid for another course for much more than this one, and it had WAY less content, so I asked for a refund. But this course is worth every penny.
Thanks, Peter.
Just decided to open up comments on this page… in case you have any questions.
As of now, 9 days until I close it down. So, if you have ANY questions at all, feel free to ask away and I’ll reply right here.
